Bio/Research

Sean Wise is a Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University, where he teaches entrepreneurial perspectives to both MBAs and undergrads. He is a PhD student at the University of Glasgow. Studying collective business intelligence through collaborative online information networks in the department founded by one of his heroes, the father of modern economics, Adam Smith. Prof Wise is the online host and industry advisor for CBC's business reality show, Dragons' Den. He is the founder of VenCorps.com, which is attempting to revolutionize the business of seed investing in much the same way Wikipedia revolutionized the encyclopedia industry.

For the past decade, Wise has lectured at over 100 bootcamps, financing forums and industry conferences. He is dedicated to training entrepreneurs and has succeeded in training more than 3000 people who have collectively raised more than $2.1 billion from different investment sources.
